DIY Waste Basket

It’s Creative Friday!!! This week I decided to transform our waste basket in the bathroom. I picked up this bin a few months ago at the Dollar store. I liked it for the size but it’s been an eye sore every time I sit on the toilet (TMI? Probably!). So here’s what you’ll need:

A glue gun, waste basket and some twisted sisal rope. The glue gun and waste basket you can purchase at the dollar store and the Sisal rope I bought at Home Depot. Start unwinding the rope and work your way from the bottom up.UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_176f.jpg

You want to keep the rope pretty tight and close so you don’t see any gaps. The best way to do this is by applying glue every couple of inches along the way.UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_176d.jpg

This DIY is so easy to do that you’re going to want to transform all your waste baskets throughout the house. That’s pretty much all there is to it. You just keep unravelling the rope until you get to the top.UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_176e.jpg

I love how this turned out! It really doesn’t take long to complete, unless you have two rugrats running around you and asking questions every five minutes!! Give this one a try and let me know how it turns out!! Don’t forget to like and follow for more creative ideas!
